Privacy notice
This notice describes the public Webtasy website at webtasy.io. For privacy questions, email hello@webtasy.io.
Your analytics choice
Website analytics is optional. We do not load Google Analytics or send analytics requests to Google until you select Accept analytics. Selecting Reject analytics, or leaving the choice unanswered, keeps it off. The same opt-in default applies regardless of your location. You can use Analytics settings at the bottom of either page to change your choice.
Rejecting after accepting disables this site's Analytics tag, removes its accessible Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the previously loaded code. It does not remove data already sent to Google. If your browser refuses both saving the new choice and removing the old one, we keep analytics off on the current page without automatically reloading, and show a warning to clear site data before future visits. We also keep analytics off when your browser reports Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, including when you previously accepted. These browser signals take precedence over the accept button.
What analytics measures
After acceptance, Google Analytics helps us understand visits and how the website is used. It can receive page views, session and interaction information, browser/device information and network information, including the IP address used to connect to its service. Its first-party cookie identifiers distinguish browsers and sessions; they are not names or email addresses.
The tag is configured without Google Signals, advertising personalization or advertising consent. We do not set a user ID or send enquiry text or email addresses to Analytics. Page-view configuration uses the page's origin and path rather than URL query parameters or fragments, and omits the referring URL. Analytics is not loaded on this privacy page or deployment-preview hosts.
Google processes analytics requests through its services, which may involve processing outside your country. Read Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites for its practices. Browser blocking tools may prevent analytics even after acceptance.
Browser storage
webtasy_analytics_consent_v1in local storage remembers your accepted or rejected choice. We treat that choice as expired after 180 days and ask again. Clearing website storage also removes the saved choice.- After acceptance, Google Analytics may set
_gaand_ga_H5BVY8C40Cfirst-party cookies. This tag limits their configured lifetime to 180 days without extending that expiry on each visit; your browser may impose a shorter lifetime.
Analytics is off if choice storage cannot be read. An explicit acceptance can still apply to the current page even when the browser cannot save it for a later visit. The saved preference is used for your privacy choice, not for advertising.
Hosting and enquiries
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Delivering and protecting a website involves handling requests and technical information such as IP addresses, requested paths and browser information, independently of the optional Analytics tag. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The contact link opens your email application. If you email us, the message, email address and any details you choose to send are used to respond and discuss your enquiry. Email is handled through the relevant email services; it is separate from website analytics. Please do not include passwords or sensitive credentials in an enquiry.
Questions and requests
Contact hello@webtasy.io to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Any response depends on the information we hold, the applicable requirements and any records that must be retained. A browser analytics identifier alone does not necessarily let us identify a particular person's past visits.
We may update this notice when the website's data handling changes. The updated date appears above.
